Bio

Maurizio Magarini received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 1994 and 1999, respectively. In 1994, he was granted the TELECOM Italia (now TIM) scholarship award for his M.Sc. Thesis. He worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at the Politecnico di Milano from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor in Politecnico di Milano where, since June 2018, he has been an Associate Professor. In 2020 he received the Italian national scientific habilitation for Full Professorship. From August 2008 to January 2009 he spent a sabbatical leave at Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia), Holmdel, NJ.
